The need for planning permission depends on various factors, such as the size and location of your bespoke garden gazebo. We can guide you through the planning permission process and provide advice specific to your project. Most gazebos will not require planning permission, as long as they meet certain criteria: 1. The structure is less than 2.5m in height from the existing ground level 2. The gazebo is less than 2m from the property boundary 3. Gazebos and outbuildings should not be closer to the road or public walkway than the original house.

A bespoke oak gazebo can elevate the aesthetic appeal of your property, delivering timeless elegance while offering exceptional durability. Estate agents often cite the impact of curb appeal on property value and a bespoke oak gazebo can add value to any property.
When you choose a bespoke oak gazebo, you gain features that surpass ready-made options – for instance, an oak gazebo with an integrated roof. While pre-made oak gazebo kits offer some design options, a custom gazebo allows you to create a space that fits your exact needs, ensuring your outdoor area is perfect for you.
In a world dominated by fast fashion and synthetic materials, the natural beauty of wood stands out. Whether showcased inside your home or protecting you outside with a bespoke oak gazebo, oak exudes a cosy, classic charm that enhances any outdoor scene.
Environmentally friendly Whether you customise one of our existing oak-frame gazebos or opt for a bespoke design, you’ll be supporting the environment because timber has the lowest carbon footprint of any building material.
A bespoke oak gazebo built from a Trade Oak kit will be extremely durable, naturally resistant to rot, and able to withstand the harshest elements of the UK climate. It will also exude a sense of timeless sophistication, making it a long-lasting addition to your home.
A new custom oak gazebo involves several stages, from design and materials sourcing to fashioning materials and construction. Choosing a bespoke oak gazebo kit from Trade Oak means you bypass much of that expense and ensure a higher-quality outcome.
This is because the design of our bespoke oak gazebo kits has already been done. In addition, we purchase the oak used in your gazebo in bulk, which enables us to keep material acquisition costs down. And because the individual components are crafted using our state-of-the-art CNC machine, each of our bespoke gazebo kits fits together with stunning precision.
If you want to add a bespoke oak gazebo to your property but the space you have in mind is non-traditional in shape, our world-class designers will work closely with you to create a bespoke oak-framed gazebo to suit your needs. Likewise, if you need your gazebo to reflect a particular aesthetic we can do that too.
Our bespoke wooden oak gazebo kits are engineered to exact tolerances. As a result, they will retain their structural integrity as the years pass no matter what Mother Nature throws at them.
Every kit comes with everything you need to assemble it quickly and easily and has been subjected to our rigorous quality control standards during every stage of design and fabrication.
Green oak – sometimes referred to as ‘uncured’ or ‘fresh’ oak – is a type of oak that, after harvesting, is not subjected to any type of drying process such as kiln drying. Green oak has a high moisture content, often as high as 30%, which makes it stronger and more durable than kiln-dried oak. And because it was not subjected to an expensive drying process it is typically more affordable.
