Each kit is made to order. We cut the timbers with CNC machinery so the joints fit properly when you put them together. We use French Green Oak for the frames—the same timber they used to restore Notre Dame Cathedral. Your building will be strong and built to last.
It depends on the roof height and where you put it on your land. Many single-storey garages fall under permitted development. But if your house is listed or you're in a conservation area, you'll probably need to apply for permission. Check with your local planning office first.
The price depends on how many bays, the roof type, and what extras you add. A standard single bay kit starts around £4,000. We can give you a proper quote once we know what you need.
Build time depends on how complex the kit is. A decent builder can usually put up a standard frame in a day. Bigger designs with rooms above take longer to finish.
Yes, we make every kit to order. You can adjust the size, choose your roofing, and add a room above or side storage. The building works exactly how you need it to.
Oak is stronger and lasts longer than other timbers. It resists rot naturally and stays solid. We use French Green Oak because it gives structural strength that cheaper softwoods can't match.
